The 'first appearance' data isn't entirely accurate. DRAGON'S CLAWS may have been his first US-format (albeit published by Marvel UK) appearance but he's already built a cult following in M-UK's THE TRANSFORMERS 113 (16 May 1987) before a guest-shot in DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE 135 (April 1988).
