1983: EAGLE 71-82

This is it!  The end of the EAGLE's short-lived dalliance with photo-stories (and nice paper.  And multiple text features.  And celebrity culture.  And... the list goes on) but, at least, it bowed out in style.  Another four ACTION FORCE mini-comics, a spot of aggro with breakfast broadcaster TV-am (more on that in a separate entry) and readership appeasing spud guns ("mash up the Mekon) and, naturally, another Frisbee-thingy.

The Eagle itself continued for many years.  But it was never this special again.
