This is a sight to warm your geek cockles: two iconic images of seventies science fiction united. I stumbled across this priceless moment whilst roaming the rows of the London Film and Comic Con at the weekend.
great pic...your site has indeed been an eye opener...although i was really into 80's marvel uk, i had stopped buying them in the 90's so deaths head et al kind of passed me by....your site has also made me more appreciatve of ' paper based ' items..as a result i take much more care now with my collection of mags and comics..its also made me regret throwing out various items over the years..ah well so it goes...
The MARVEL UK stuff from the nineties still haunts many a 50p back issue box so you should be able to find some of this stuff pretty cheaply. Of course, that actually makes it a bit harder (unless you strike Bargain Bin Gold) to assemble a coherent collection but does make the hunt more interesting. I can't promise what you'll find will be any good however!
