1980: PRINCESSIONS WONDER WOMAN NEWSZINE AD

From 1980: a full-page advert to sign up for PRINCESSIONS: The Wonder Woman newszine which also (smartly... considering the show was defunct) seemed to cover plenty of other topics too.

Did anyone read or contribute to this?  Does anyone have copies?  Any good?  Copies were apparently sold in the original FP down Denmark Street way.

  1. DC have just released a nice comic called WONDER WOMAN 77 which features art and photos from the tv series. Lynda Carter remains a knockout to this day. Also from DC this week is a lovely volume of collected RIDDLER stories. Although i must admit i passed on NIGHT NURSE , a reprint package from one of marvel 1970s more bizarre offerings.

    1. I grabbed... but haven't read... the WONDER WOMAN TV one-shot from last week. A lovely cover and, from a quick glance, a fun read inside. Lynda is the definitive WW.

I passed on the RIDDLER but jumped at a copy of NIGHT NURSE. It looks fun and it's hard to resist vintage stuff... despite Marvel's high price point. A scheduling snafu also meant the two Marvel hardbacks (black and red) and the latest JUDGE DREDD hardback all collided on the same week.

BTW - Did you know that they are also piloting a collection of BUFFY hardbacks, reprinting the Dark Horse material? I found 'issue' 2 (sadly not the first) by chance in Colchester's branch of WHS. I've not seen it anywhere else... or promoted... so I assume this is a test launch in a targeted market.
