From the Winter of 1984 (and the Random Scans Department): the end-of-year double issue of Britain's leading fanzine of the day: DOCTOR WHO BULLETIN.
This is from a time before I was reader but I spotted it in a dealer's box a few weeks ago and picked it up.
It's from the time when DWB was still a WHO only magazine, a status which (like ENTERPRISE INCIDENTS and its origins as a Trek zine) would eventually change to distinguish it from the officially licensed Marvel mag and avoid any legal entanglements with BBC Enterprises.
Had dr who been imprisoned here ? Either way ,he doesn't look too happy...

Tis the season for bookazine: this one, nor the ART OF FANTASY FILMS one, was in the local WHS yesterday but I will keep 'em peeled.
DeleteWe're also due the annual STAR WARS and STAR TREK bookazines from Titan this month (although, in previous years, they have taken longer to filter through to WHS) and Panini have the DOCTOR WHO YEARBOOK (not a yearbook in the 1990s sense) on the schedule for December.
Titan also have two X-FILES SPECIALS, assembled from the old magazine, on the schedule although they appear to have moved back to 2016 to coincide with the TX of the new episodes.
